D. Gray-man + Cosplay Update!

I just finished watching the D. Gray-man series just moments ago and oh WOW was it amazing and beyond what I thought was going to happen. The last episode is totally a cliff hanger. And makes me wonder if it ends like that in the mange ... probably not.

Just need to work on collecting the manga volumes again ... I only have one and two ... my dog ruined volume three T.T

-Cosplay News-
Well, next week I shall be finally starting on my long awaited for Aerith dress from Crisis Core. I'm super freaking excited to be making it. But its all of the rather fine detail work that is gonna make me cry since I've decided to sew all of that stuff on by hand. I want to have it finished by mid-November [basically before November's Gasukan]

Next wed I will finally be sending the money out so I can have an awesome Karin cosplay. I am looking forward to her like no other. She has become my new favorite lady of the shippuuden world. >< [Sakura is still number one though, but all cosplay's regarding her have been placed on hold till I can find a new wig]

After Aerith is finished I will need to start on the White Queen cosplay for expo [if I can go... I'm a little iffy at taking so much time off from work plus if things work out with some friends in the spring I honestly do no think I will have the money] I'm not to positive on how that is gonna work since my friend has it sketched out..

And the last cosplay I would LOVE to have by then end of this year is my dearest Lavi. For him I will probably cop out and order something from online [I don't really want to work with leather and I will need some time to work on his Hammer of Awesome! Score for HUGE props.] Will probably start buying what I need to make a huge hammer so I can work on that in between sewing and work.

Wow ... that is a lot. Actually not really ... If I keep to it. Spend wisely and not go over I can honestly see myself having all of it done by the end of this year ... Also if anyone has any good tips on making Lavi's hammer, I would love to hear them.

JavaKat actually as a tutorial posted on Youtube on how to make a hammer. She's making it for her Sonic the Hedgehog cosplay but, with the proper modifications, you could work off her's. Or, you can check out other Youtube videos or search the cosplay.com forums under "props and accessories" or seek out Lavi cosplayers you admire and ask them how they did it--I've found cosplayers are always super-willing to advise others on how to replicate their magic. x3 <3

I will have to seek out Java at Gasu and gets information!! ha ha >< I have a "shopping" list of items I need to purchase and that heavens that I think I can buy everything on that list at JoAnn's. Yay discount ><

P.s ... I do hope that you and Bee are feeling betters. I will miss you at gasu next weekend T.T We defiantly need to get together and hang out ^^\/

Aww, thank you, hun~Bee and I both came down with the most odd assortment of thing. My eye swelled shut and she caught a nasty cold that knocked out her voice. A small part of me is glad we won't be attending this weekend, as we both are just exhausted from our illnesses. I will miss you though, dear. It's odd not having a Gasukan to look forward to. I suppose I'll just have to suit-up for next month, aye? :] <3

As of right now, my little bumble Bee is doing a lot better. She's buzzing about as she usually does, all energy and light~I, on the other hand, am not even sure what's going on. XD I picked up something no one else on campus seems to have and am now just riding the waves of sick, hoping it goes away on it's own.

Ooo, I didn't know you had a special someone. If he does show up, I'll be happy to meet him--and give him the "Hurt my friend, I hurt your face"-talk. Haha! ;DDDD
